Make Your Own Mandalas
I decided today, why not upload a mandala template? So, that's what I'm doing. They're so simple to draw and so relaxing if you have a lot of [unnecessary] thoughts on your mind. Let's take a look at how to do it!
Needed Utensils:
Let's get started!
First thing's first, I'm a perfectionist when it comes to these, therefore I like to use a circular template. I decided to make one with limited lines to make it less tormenting πMandala Template
Needed Utensils:
- Paper
- Pencil
- Black ink pens, or colored gel pens( I personally love Pigma Micron: You can get them here & Gelly Roll You can select from here)
- Eraser

Let's move on to the first drawing step.
Place your blank sheet of paper over the template and just start drawing! (I personally hate the compact size of the first few circles... these may be a fail π)
And all it is after this is just using your imagination, you can be as detailed or undetailed as you want, I personally love more detail but cut some of it out in this tutorial.
^ There is the partial fail
Still a little failure...
Here we go! Adding some big shapes now
Put in some detail
A little outline here and there
A fun little zentengle in there too
A little border here and there
Viola! It's all done, but of course, add many many many more details and shapes until it takes up the entire page
See! Now that wasn't so hard.
Side Note: If there are any unwanted lines, markings, smears, etc. that you dislike, you can easily scan your design from a printer, save it to a USB and edit it in paint or photoshop with the eraser tool! (I have had to this on almost every drawing I have doneπ) I hope you enjoy, please check out my Instagram for more images of what I have created! >>Here :)
