Myers-Briggs, What Is Your Personality?
To those of you unaware, The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator is an introspective self-report questionnaire with the purpose of indicating differing psychological preferences in how people perceive the world around them and make decisions -Wikipedia.
I had learned in a mangement class that this is a personality indicator, you can take an exam online and have the website you chose estimate through the data and questions what you are, or, you can give this to yourself (less time consuming).
I personally did it with a friend who had "tested" others on what their personality is
Here are the words/comparisons:
Extraversion- Outgoing, talkative, faster paced, think out loud, love attention
Introversion- Reserved, quiet, slower paced, think inside your head
Sensing- Focus on how things currently are, close attention to facts and details, describe in a specific/literal way
Intuition- Imagine possibilities, notice the big picture, see how everything connects, describe in a figuritive/poetic way
Thinking- Decision made interpersonally, value justice/fairness, enjoy finding flaws in arguement, reasonable
Feeling- Decision made values and how actions will affect others, value harmony/forgiveness, like to please others, empathetic
Judging- Prefer matters to be settled, rules and deadlines should be respected, prefer detailed step-by-step instructions, want to know detials of plans you are getting in to
Perceiving- Prefer to leave options open, see rules and deadlines as flexible, prefer improvisition and making plans as they go, spontaneous and enjoy surprises.
^ These descriptions... of course from wikipedia again π
