DIY Upcycle Bag

So I hear a lot of people are going in to the "no waste" way of life, which I 100% agree with. I thought, why not use some material that we ALL have and make use of it?
So yes, this is going to be a tutorial on how to make an "Upcycle Bag"
If you're interested in video form, check out my video:
If you'd rather go through a photo tutorial, here it is!
Items you will need:
-Scissors
-Old t-shirt (or any clothing of your choice you no longer wear)
-9 inch zipper
-Ruler
-Thread
-Sewing Needle
-Sewing Pins or Clips
-Fleece or Fusible Cotton Batting (Fleece is easier and cheaper)
-Pen

1.  Cut out two pieces of the upcycle and fleece in to 8 x 9 inch pieces (20.5 x 23 centimeters)
2. Place your zipper, opening side down, on top of one upcycle fabric. Then, place one piece of fleece on top of the zipper

3. Sew!

4.Place the finished sewing piece face down on your upcycle fabric (upcycle on upcycle) and place the fleece on top of the zipper

5.Sew!

6. Turn work so outsides are touching and insides are facing away and your work is closed, sew all the way around, leaving about 1/2 inch seam allowance. Hint! make sure to unzip halfway before sewing all around :)

7. You can complete it now and skip to step 9, or move on to make it more 3D :)

8. Fold your work so when your corners are out, they touch the thin seam-side, mark two-inches (or your desired measurement of depth) and sew across)

9. Trim the excess fabric all around, leaving a little seam allowance *skip the top that touches the zipper!

10. Turn your work inside out and it is complete!
